How to write a resume for a job

There is no practical rule for writing a professional resume. But most importantly, it should be neat and transparent, which will allow the recruiter to easily find the information he is interested in. While there are several different examples of content, templates and comments, what they all have in common is that you need to include the information below on your resume from resume services.

Personal information

This is the most important information to include on your resume. Enter your basic information at the top, such as B. First and last name, contact (phone number, email address), place of residence (city) and, optionally, date of birth (optional). Make sure you include the correct phone number and email address so the employer can contact you directly. It would be a shame if offers for an interesting position were neglected because of a minor issue, such as an error in the number or a typo in the email address.

Length of service

This is the very important element that employers pay the most attention to. How can you describe your experience on your resume? You should include job titles and dates of employment, as well as a brief description. It is best to list your tasks and most important areas of responsibility.
Important: The principle of reverse chronology is always used in biographical data, i.e. positions are described from the newest to the oldest.

Education

This section summarizes the educational milestones relevant to the employer. Like the work experience section, you must apply the reverse chronology rule. So make a list of courses taken and faculties acquired from the newest to the oldest. To keep your resume as simple as possible, you may want to leave out the name of your high school in this section, especially if you graduated years ago. This is usually of little concern.

Additional skills

If you have special skills that set you apart from other candidates, consider including them on your resume. In this section, however, you need to think about which skills are most important to the position you're applying for. For example, in sales, it might be quick contact, patience, and very good negotiation skills.

Interests and hobbies

This is not a required item, and you can skip it if your resume is already extensive enough. Otherwise, such as at the beginning of your career or when hiring for your first job, you should show your interesting hobbies and interests. It is best if they are related to the field in which you want to develop professionally. For example, if you are passionate about fashion and are applying for a job at an online clothing store, you should even include fashion as an object of your interest on your resume!
